Disgraced US billionaire Epstein ‘hangs self’ in jail

Disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein hanged himself, two law enforcement officials told the New York Times. He was found at roughly 6.30am (local time) at the Metropolitan Correctional Centre (MCC) in Manhattan and was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, the federal bureau of prisons said in a statement.
