How schools are rethinking the classroom

Many educators say kids can do better in a more relaxed and flexible learning environment. This has led to many designers and architects to provide spaces and furnishings to fit that bill. Students now work in learning studios, plazas and home bases, says Bob Pearlman, an education consultant.
